How to play Neon Number Run
Neon Number Run is a quick mental maths challenge on a two-lane night highway. Read the question above the road, work out the answer, and move your rider into the matching lane before the gates reach you. The countdown bar shows how much time you have left.
Steer towards the answer
On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys or A and D. On a phone or tablet, tap either half of the road or use the answer buttons underneath. You can change lanes until the countdown runs out.
Score and build your streak
Each correct answer adds one point and extends your streak. A wrong answer ends the run and shows the correct solution. Hit Restart or Race again to begin a fresh attempt.
A little harder, a little faster
Start with addition. After five points, subtraction joins the mix; after ten, multiplication; and after fifteen, division. A new stage begins every five points, and the time available per question gradually drops from six seconds to a minimum of two and a half seconds.
Play at your pace
Press P or use Pause to take a break without losing your progress. The game also pauses when you switch away. Sound is optional. Your best completed run is saved in this browser on this device when browser storage is available.
